Directing the Choir will be Dr. Andrea Goodman who currently serves as the director of the Cantilena Chamber
Choir in Western Massachusetts. Last fall she was a visiting professor of conducting at the New England Conservatory of Music
where she also directed the women’s choir. She has also served as Director of Choruses at Skidmore College and New York
University. She has directed the award-winning Goodman Chamber Choir, the Russian Emigré Choir, and served as guest conductor
in the Aspen Music Festival, the Festival de Musique Sacrée in Fribourg, Switzerland, and the Festival of White Nights in
St. Petersburg, Russia. In the local area, her choirs have collaborated with the Empire Brass and Aston Magna. In the local
area she has conducted in the Adirondack Festival of American Music, the Berkshire Bach Society, and the Upstate New York's
Area All-State Women's Choir. Dr. Goodman holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Conducting from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory
of Music.
